Ocean liners

Titanic, Olympic, Mauretania, Aquitania and others are the famous ocean liners that in past lived.  Transatlantic ships are constructed with the purpose of crossing great distances and from one continent to another.
  The construction of these famous ships began at the time of the 19th century. When new technologies began to emerge as the steamboat. They began to be built different from previous ones. Ships began to iron and steel and started to have chimneys and also propellers.
   At the commencement of construction of these vessels some projects have gone wrong but these errors were important to improve the design of ships and also contribute to a better stability of the ship.
   In the 20th century ship design was already perfected and these ships have become floating cities amazing. Titanic is one of the best known ships not only for its disaster but also because in his time was one of the most luxurious ships. Today the shipbuilding industry is very different from the 20th century and there are ships with horrible design. The shipbuilding industry is concerned only with making money today and many ships look like huge boxes with no exterior spaces. A transatlantic is much more prepared for long trips than a cruise ship because the design is special for the huge waves of the sea when they reach the bow.
